After several years due to commitments with the many musical productions associated with his company Essgee Entertainment, Simon Gallaher makes a triumphant return to the concert stage for a limited time during 2005 to celebrate 30 years in showbusiness.

Gallaher started hosting his own TV kids program in the mid-seventies and from there he developed his talents into a national singing and piano-playing star on The Mike Walsh Show. By the end of the seventies, he had two recording contracts, was a regular on the Walsh Show, had toured nationally with Debbie Reynolds, won three Mo Awards, was Queensland Entertainer of the Year and was about to win a Logie Award and to host his own primetime Variety show on ABC-TV. From there it goes on and on - to the first musical he did in 1984 (The Pirates with Jon English) to creating a string of hit stage shows himself with his company Essgee Entertainment which actually started by producing his own record albums way back when.

Now in concert for the first time in over 5 years, Gallaher returns to the piano and to singing in the way it all began. In a tribute to the past 30 years he will perform a full anthology of songs and compositions including many his fans will know from his five gold albums. Combined with songs from his musicals, some new material and hits like My Friend (which was a Number One for he and Jackie Love), the tour is planned to cover all major centres including a regional tour of Queensland with Julie Anthony in May.

UPDATE: Simon & Julie's tour of Queensland was a triumphant success and they now plan to tour throughout New South Wales and Victoria in the coming months.

NEW CD: To also commemorate this milestone, Simon's latest CD has been released called The Simon Gallaher Silver Anniversary Collection. It has 20 of Simon's personally chosen favourites from his past 5 albums. Order it now.
